The REACH Act (H.R. 2525, S. 744) creates transparency and consistency for how hazing incidents at colleges and universities are defined and recorded by making it a Clery Act reportable crime. It also requires research-informed education to prevent hazing. Federal anti-hazing legislation is long overdue and we must ensure this bill is a priority in Congress.
